Hospital Shopfloor Management

Shop floor management makes processes more efficient

Not everything has to be reinvented. The store floor management (SFM) approach is used in industry to make processes more efficient, structure problems and solve them sustainably in order to keep pace with the enormous speed of change.

This is only possible through a progressive, well-functioning and networked team that is provided with the methods and means to shape itself in order to recognize scope for action and develop potential. The digital process visualization of an SQCDP board creates new transparency and combines this with an integrated communication strategy.

Transparency at all levels

The practical application:
The SQCDP board visualizes an area of the clinic, maintained by the department team – on a daily basis, with a time investment of approx. 15 minutes. The systematic and software-supported implementation records relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and derives measures for optimization (e.g. 20 percent less walking for nursing staff).

With a process and organizationally integrated application, the clinic management gains transparency on a daily basis at all levels, including Prioritization of measures. Employees contribute their specialist knowledge to the design and preparation of station-specific challenges – increasing employee satisfaction.
